Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal organization. This society was formed over 100 years ago to render aid to members and their families and to assist the sick, disabled and needy.
The Knights of Columbus also provide social and intellectual fellowship for the members and their families. The fellowship is developed by the members’ participation in educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public charity projects.
There are thousands of local "Councils" of the Knights of Columbus established across communities in the United States and Canada.
Starting in January of 2007 work began at the Sacred Heart parish in Spring Grove, PA. to establish our own local council. After 6 months of informational meetings, recruitment meetings and organizing meetings the Sacred Heart Council was granted a charter by the National Organization on 7/2/07.
Even before the council received its official charter, the local members of the Knights of Columbus were involved in projects that benefited the Sacred Heart parish and the wider community.
For additional information about the Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus council, please contact Grand Knight Chuck Becker at 717-225-1789 or by email at steelworkerdad@aol.com.

Support Our Troops

We are continuing to collect items to be sent overseas to our servicemen and women. Please drop off any non-perishable items on Sunday mornings at the parish center. We will do this until the end of April. Thank you for your support in this area. We have received letters in great appreciation of your efforts.
For additional information and a list of items being accepted, please click here.
Flowers for our church
We will not have a flower chart, this year, but if you would like to sponsor the flowers in memory of someone or in honor of someone, please call the Rectory 2 weeks prior to the date, in order for it to be in the bulletin. The church will have the flowers delivered every week, and hopefully your contribution will help defray the cost of the flowers. It is a small way you can help make our church more beautiful.
Sacred Heart 200 Club
Tickets are $10.00 each. The Club runs for eleven weeks. The first ten weeks we have four drawings ( two $15.00 and two $10.00) each week. If you win in any week, your number is always put back for the next week drawing. On the eleventh week we have an All You Can Eat Dinner and the final drawing ( $200.00 - $100.00 - $50.00 and three $25.00). The purpose of the 200 Club was for the debt of our parish hall and also for operating expenses of our parish.
Mary Wivell and Teenie Aumen are Co-Chairpersons
